Status Faculty

The Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy is fortunate to have amongst its faculty, over 150 status-appointed faculty members. Status faculty members are professionals who contribute significantly to the education of future occupational therapists through their involvement in lectures, lab instruction, clinical fieldwork supervision, research supervision and committee work.

Status Faculty Committee Involvement

Status Faculty are invited to participate on any of the five Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy departmental committees when community representative vacancies become available. Read more about a departmental committee that you may be interested in participating in.

Status Faculty Course Involvement

Any Status Faculty who are interested in teaching opportunities such as lab instruction, DCM involvement, marking, or lecturing are invited to contact the professor responsible for the course that you have an interest in.  To find a course instructor and contact information, please consult the Core Faculty page and read the profile of the individual faculty members.

Annual Faculty Assembly

Each Fall, both Core and Status Faculty are invited to attend the Annual Faculty Assembly. The Assembly provides an opportunity for all Faculty involved in OT student education to network, to share information and to hear about recent Faculty and Departmental developments. The Assembly also includes a professional development workshop on topics related to OT student education. View upcoming events, including the date for the next faculty assembly.
