Preparation for the Start of Classes

Booklists

There are a number of key books that are used across several courses. For Term One these are listed below. Booklists for specific courses and subsequent terms will be provided by the relevant course instructor; however the vast majority of texts are purchased in Year One. Texts can be purchased at the U of T Bookstore at 214 College Street, 416-640-7900 after approximately August 15 (possibly earlier). To order online, go to www.uoftbookstore.com. Select the link: Is this your first time placing an online order? Students must have their course codes and sections handy. Purchases must be made by credit card. Orders may be shipped out or picked up at a specific location. Problems or concerns pertaining to online orders should be directed to (416) 978–6066 or weborders@uoftbookstore.com. There may be a select number of used texts available through U of T; however, please ensure that you purchase the correct edition.

The following texts will be required at some point for your Term 1 courses. Those texts below marked with ** are core required texts for the entire curriculum. You will use them in multiple courses, fieldwork placements and/or as general resource texts. Those texts below marked with + are required course texts; however, if you feel you have a text from a previous anatomy or neuro course with equivalent content please bring it to the first class (OCT1172Y) to check appropriateness with instructors.
