IATSL demos COACH at CAST

March 21, 2007

Lab mates Axel von Bertoldi and Jennifer Boger had a great time at the 2007 CAST conference in Washington D.C. where they met other researchers in the field of high-tech assistive technology and presented IATSL's research, including a life size demo of the COACH.

2nd Annual TRI Research Day

IATSL's own Paul Lam and Patricia Kan presented their research poster on The Development of an Intelligent Haptic Upper-Limb Stroke Rehabilitation Device at the 2nd annual TRI Research Day. They also had an unforgettable Mad Minute presentation!

29th RESNA Conference in Atlanta, GA

June 22 - 27, 2006

Another successful RESNA conference! IATSL and the IDEA team from the University of Buffalo presented their collaborative efforts on the first year of the RERC for Universal Design and the Built Environment. Alex received a promotion to the position of Super Chair for the RESNA SIG groups while Jen has accepted the position of Vice-Chair of SIG 20: Assistive technology for people with cognitive disabilities.
