Biography

Tuck-Voon completed his Master of Applied Science in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Toronto in 2010.  His Masters research involved developing a vision-based system that helps individuals with cognitive impairments navigate when using powered wheelchairs.

As a PhD student, Tuck-Voon will continue to pursue his research interest of exploring the intersection between healthcare and technology. His doctoral thesis will look at using new human-computer interfaces to extend cognitive rehabilitation beyond the hospital setting and into home or mobile environments.
